Great hostal in a brilliant location
The location was brilliant for exploring the city as it was very central. The staff were lovely and happy to help in any way. We just needed a fairly basic room for a couple of nights, and somewhere to use as a base to explore from. This fit that brief. The room was basic but nice and tidy, and we had our own ensuite (which was clean). There was also air-conditioning in the room, which was useful. It was good there was a lift because we had a fair bit of luggage, and we were able to keep our luggage there for the day after we checked out (because our flight was not until later).
I think the main thing was that even though the bathroom looked clean and was cleaned every day, it still smelled strongly of urine, which was unpleasant. But other than that, no problems at all.

Superb
Location, bathrooms attached, windows which nearly completely block out the street noise - impressive, security, baggage storage for a few hours, responsive team.
Noisy room doors which we heard from our room, quite thin walls - we could hear voices and cellphones through the walls, voices in the corridors. A kettle to make a hot cuppa would have been great.

location, staff, the key code access :), beds, quiet, really downtown, close to Sol metro stop, 24h mini market next door
upper room water pressure was much lower than the previous room I had downstairs.
